Heart-Felt Finger Puppets {Go Red for Women}

Join me and several other bloggers, and Go Red for Women in support of the American Heart Association and women everywhere. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women and deadlier than all types of cancer. Show your support this month by wearing red, teaching your kiddos' about the heart, making heart-related projects...and when is there a better time than February to celebrate your heart!?!

To show our support, my MOPS group wore red to our meeting this morning. Here are a few of us wearing red!

Sweet P also wore red and a shirt with a heart on it. While she slept last night, I whipped up these sweet little googly-eyed finger puppets! (I found them in The Heart Book shared by Love & Lollipops!). Then this morning, I put them on and on the way to MOPS, we chatted about hearts and why we were wearing red. She even said, "Tell me again about why we're wearing red, mama."

I'm also planning to teach her more about our actual hearts and heart functions this week.

Today, we’re joining Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association to show our support. Along with Coffee Cups and CrayonsThe Educators' Spin On ItB.Inspired MamaMama Smiles and Train Up a Child, we're bringing you Go RED Ideas for you and your children this month.

How are you joining in the fight? Show your support and link up your ideas on how you, your family or your community is Going Red for Women this month!
